Hello!! My name is Britney Overbeek and I am the theatre arts teacher here at Western. I've always loved performing on stage, but my passion for the theater really took off during my high school years. I've participated in numerous productions in various roles such as acting, directing, and stage managing. I was born and raised in Durham, NC but attended Campbell University where I received my Theatre Education degree. I'm very excited to be able to serve this wonderful community of students and provide a space where they are welcome to be their fullest self.
