Meet the Teacher
Burke, Annlei
Hi! My name is Mrs. Burke and this will be my 9th year as a teacher. My mom is a retired teacher, and my sister is a teacher, so it runs in the family! I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Grades Language Arts and Social Studies Education from North Carolina State University in 2015, where I was honored to be part of the last class of North Carolina Teaching Fellows. I am certified to teach grades 6-9 Language Arts and Social Studies. In my free time, I love to go to any NC State sporting event with my husband (GO PACK!), play with my cat (Alice), and bake delicious desserts. Google Classroom is utilized for classroom instruction, communication and collaboration. Students use their Harnettstudents.org Google accounts to have access to assignments, resources, and content. Using the Internet, students have access anytime and anywhere to posted assignments, due dates, as well as supporting curriculum resources.
