I began my career in education as a teacher and taught for 4 1/2 years: 2 years at HCHS and 2 1/2 years at WHMS. I became a School Counselor at WHMS in 1996. My name is Shannon Bradley, and I am the School Counselor for the 7th grade Mavericks Team, the 7th grade Warriors Team, and all of the 8th grade. I have been a School Counselor for the past 25 years. I started out at Western Harnett Middle and moved to Overhills Middle when they opened during the 1999 - 2000 school year. I served at OMS for four years and then transferred to Western Harnett High School. I was a School Counselor at the high school for 10 years and then served as their Student Advocate for two years, before returning to WHMS. I am so happy to be back home!
