SUN Bucks: A new food assistance program for school children.
Starting this summer, families that qualify can expect to receive $120 per eligible child in grocery-buying benefits on a debit-like card. These benefits can be used to purchase food at retailers that accept EBT, including most major grocery stores.

IMPORTANT: Some families will get benefits automatically sent to the mailing address in their child’s school record. Update your child’s mailing address by March 28th by contacting your child’s school.

Good afternoon DMS parents,
We are pleased to inform you that we will begin afterschool tutoring on February 26, 2024. Some students received a personal invitation to join us on Mondays and Wednesdays for extra help in Math and/or Reading. Tutoring letters were sent home the early part of last week. We need for all letters to be returned to your child's teacher as soon as possible. If you are not sure if your child received a letter OR if you would like for your child to attend tutoring, please contact their teacher or an administrator at your convenience.

Due to potential inclement weather, Harnett County Schools will operate on an asynchronous remote learning schedule on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Students who do not have mobile capabilities will not be penalized.
