TEAMWORK
The Harnett County Schools Summer Bridge Program was designed to provide support to students during critical transition years. Today, rising 6th graders learned about teamwork with coach Mills at Harnett Central Middle School.

During a pattern passing activity, students recognized the value of working as a team to achieve shared goals.  Not only did they get hands-on practice to develop hand-and-eye coordination, but they also gained valuable problem-solving skills by exercising their ability to communicate, negotiate, cooperate, and compromise.

Team building and group dynamics are important lesson principles as students transition from elementary to middle school. Coach Mills showed students how effective teamwork can lead to success.

A job well done to all the participants; you are gonna be sooo ready for middle school!
