Congratulations to the Highland Middle School Mathletes! Coached by Ms. Lisa Teston, these 8th graders participated in the regional Math Counts competition held at Campbell University.
They successfully took part in three rounds of advanced math questions: the Sprint Round, Target Round, and Team Round. Ultimately, they took home First Place in overall points.
Elijah Nair dominated the Countdown round, for scoring the highest points during the entire competition!
We wish them the best of luck as they continue to practice for the North Carolina State Competition in March!
