HMS students attend Western Harnett or Overhills High Schools (based on their address). If you have recently moved, please ensure the school has the correct address on file.
Students also have the opportunity to apply for Harnett County Early College if they are interested in pursuing an HS Diploma as well as an Associate's Degree before graduating from Harnett County Schools.
As the year progresses, students will have the opportunity to tour their assigned high school, participate in Career Exploration activities, learn about high school course offerings, and will register for high school classes (on PowerSchool).

10/31/22 -- All 8th graders received introductory high school information from HMS Counselors
11/21/22 -- Harnett County Early College to present to all 8th graders
12/1/22 - 2/1/23 -- Early College Application window.
