Come home to Harnett! We will be hosting a face-to-face recruitment event on Tuesday, June 11 at the Harnett County Public Library and Resource Center. This is a floating event that will begin at 2:00 PM and end around 4:00 PM. We are currently recruiting for all positions, both certified and classified. SUN Bucks: A new food assistance program for school children. Starting this summer, families that qualify can expect to receive $120 per eligible child in grocery-buying benefits on a debit-like card. These benefits can be used to purchase food at retailers that accept EBT, including most major grocery stores. Visit the SUN Bucks webpage at www.ncdhhs.gov/sunbucks to learn more. IMPORTANT: Some families will get benefits automatically sent to the mailing address in their child’s school record. Update your child’s mailing address by March 28th by contacting your child’s school.

Overhills Families! Tomorrow, March 8th, Overhills High School will be on a two-hour delay due to a small fire in a storage area. The fire department and county officials are working hard to ensure staff and students will return to a safe, clean learning environment. Thank you! Have a good evening!

OHS Parents, Attendance make-up sessions will be held after school December 11, 12, 13, and 14 from 2:30-4:30. Student sign-up is required to ensure adequate staffing. The form is in your student's grade level classroom. Registration will close Thursday, 12/7 at noon. Contact your child's counselor with questions.
