Come home to Harnett! We will be hosting a face-to-face recruitment event on Tuesday, June 11 at the Harnett County Public Library and Resource Center. This is a floating event that will begin at 2:00 PM and end around 4:00 PM. We are currently recruiting for all positions, both certified and classified. SUN Bucks: A new food assistance program for school children. Starting this summer, families that qualify can expect to receive $120 per eligible child in grocery-buying benefits on a debit-like card. These benefits can be used to purchase food at retailers that accept EBT, including most major grocery stores. Visit the SUN Bucks webpage at www.ncdhhs.gov/sunbucks to learn more. IMPORTANT: Some families will get benefits automatically sent to the mailing address in their child’s school record. Update your child’s mailing address by March 28th by contacting your child’s school.

UPDATE: The restoration crews and county officials have been working hard through the night to ensure staff and students would be safe to return to school today. However, cleanup is still ongoing in the building. Overhills High will be on a remote day. Thank you for your patience!

Overhills Families! Tomorrow, March 8th, Overhills High School will be on a two-hour delay due to a small fire in a storage area. The fire department and county officials are working hard to ensure staff and students will return to a safe, clean learning environment. Thank you! Have a good evening!

This announcement is for Overhills High School bus riders for 2/26 This afternoon, the following buses will depart one hour late: BUS 289, BUS 522, BUS 43.

REMINDER: Monday, February 19th is a teacher workday and students do not have school.

Due to the concern of rising COVID cases at OHS, all students will be on a remote learning day on Friday, February 9th. All students will be required to log in from home to complete required assignments. Please look for emails from your teachers.

Attention OHS parents - students are in transition to OMS. We are unable to release students until all students are in place at the middle school. Thank you for your patience during this process. If you plan to pick up your student - please enter OMS at the bus parking lot and do not exit your vehicle.

Seniors . . . Be the Light Night! Monday, December 11th at 5:30!!

OHS Parents, Attendance make-up sessions will be held after school December 11, 12, 13, and 14 from 2:30-4:30. Student sign-up is required to ensure adequate staffing. The form is in your student's grade level classroom. Registration will close Thursday, 12/7 at noon. Contact your child's counselor with questions.

WorkKeys Testing for CTE concentrators has been rescheduled for Monday, November 27th. Students not testing will remain in 1st period until testing is complete.
