Top Questions Answered:

Can adults enroll in the trip?

Yes! While EF Tours are designed for students, adults are welcome to join. Anyone who is (or will turn) 20 years old while on tour is considered an adult traveler. For safety, EF runs background checks on all adults traveling on student tours.

Can adults enroll as chaperones?

Chaperones are chosen directly by Ms. Blanchard. Chaperones have added responsibilities, helping supervise students and supporting the Group Leaders. If you’re interested in joining, we encourage you to enroll as an adult traveler and simply enjoy the trip!

Do parents or guardians need to enroll if travelers are under 18?

No! Ms. Blanchard, our chaperones, and the EF Tour Director will all be with the group to ensure safety and fun.

Is the trip only for students?

No! Friends and family members of students are also welcome to join!

Where can we find more information about scholarships?
EF’s Global Citizen Scholarship Fund is needs- and merit-based. Details: eftours.com/global-citizen
If you’ve already paid and then win a scholarship, EF will refund your payment.
