Our varsity home football game tonight will be broadcast live as the NFHS Game of the Week. NFHS requires a monthly subscription for $11 that can be cancelled at any time. Most of our away games and away soccer and volleyball will be on NFHS throughout the season, however since this is the game of the week, we will have a production company on site tonight with booth commentary and a sideline reporter. Hello from Harnett County Schools.
Due to the impending storm, Triton High School will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, August 7 and 8.
-This means that Senior pictures scheduled for tomorrow will be postponed for a later date. All paid sessions will transfer to the updated picture day. We will inform you as soon as we get an updated schedule.
-Open House will be postponed until Tuesday, August 13, 5:00-7:00 pm.
-There will be no extracurricular activities Wednesday (8/7) or Thursday (8/8).

ATTENTION RISING SENIORS
Triton will be making school nominations for the following merit based scholarships:
Morehead-Cain Scholarship (UNC-Chapel Hill)
Levine Scholarship (UNC-Charlotte)
If you are in the top 10% of the senior class, and wish to be considered for nomination by THS for either of these scholarships, please see the links below for preliminary information. Please read the selection criteria for each scholarship and make sure you meet the criteria before you apply.
Preliminary information is due to Mrs. Weaver on August 1, 2024 by 2:30pm. Email Mrs.Weaver with any questions at lweaver1@harnett.k12.nc.us.
Following the submission of this preliminary information, a THS selection committee will meet to determine school nominees. Final materials are due to UNC-Chapel Hill on October 1st and to UNC-Charlotte on November 15th. Check the individual schools' scholarship websites for full details.
