The Triton High School Beta Club & FCCLA are banding together to organize a drive for sensory items to make sensory kits for displaced autistic children in Western North Carolina. Please see the attached for further information:



The following Triton Clubs, FFA, FCS, Interact, JROTC, & LEO, are taking up donations for the flood victims in Western NC. Please see a member of one of these groups for more information.


Homecoming tshirts are $20 and will be available to purchase during lunches next Tuesday and Thursday. The Hawk PrideBooster Club will also be selling Triton Hawk Gear-hats, t-shirts, hoodies, etc. Cash, Credit Card, Cash App, Apple Pay are accepted.

CFNC College Application Week will be a time to apply to many colleges for free! Sign up to apply for college during the week of Oct. 21-27. We will sit down with you and help you through the process (most likely during one of your elective blocks). You can start your application on your own, but we can help you finalize it and submit it during this week. This week is only for CFNC, not Common App.
These things will be needed in order to submit your CFNC application:
--RDS number
--CFNC account registration
--Your address and parent's address (if you have a parent that does not live in your home)
--Essay(s)--You can log in to CFNC and pull up the application to see the essay question(s).
--List of activities that you've participated in during your time in high school

Attention Juniors!
THS is accepting nominations for the Governor's School of North Carolina. This is a 4-week summer residential program for gifted and talented high school students, integrating academic disciplines, the arts, and unique courses on each of two campuses.
Students will be nominated by teacher recommendation or can self-nominate. In addition to reviewing the Nomination Packet and video linked below to determine if you are a good candidate for The Governor's School, students must also have a minimum weighted GPA of 3.5.
Teachers will be contacted by Student Services to submit nominations. Students who are interested in self-nominating should email Ms. Stevens at mstevens@harnett.k12.nc.us by October 18th. An informational meeting for those interested. The specific date and time will be posted at a later date. Information will be shared about the application process at that time.

The United States Senate Youth Program & Scholarship Applications are now open and will close on October 6, 2024
The U.S. Senate Youth Program is merit-based and highly competitive. Qualified junior or senior high school students applying to the program must show evidence of demonstrated leadership through public service in elected or appointed positions where they currently and actively represent a constituency in organizations that relate to government, public affairs, history, and/or community service.
