Harnett County Middle Schools would like to, once again, offer a course that could benefit some of our most capable students. We would like to offer a free distance learning (online) foreign language course to our 7th and 8th-grade students who qualify.
If you would like to register your child in an online class, please complete the 2023-2024 Middle School Distance Learning Application.
To ensure the potential for success, the student’s academic record, EOG scores, conduct, and attendance, will be reviewed before actual enrollment in the course. If your child does not meet the criteria, they will not be enrolled in this class.
Criteria for Foreign Language Distance Learning
90 or higher in Core Classes
Level 3 or higher on NC End of Grade Reading Test
No more than 15 absences for the 2022-2023 school year
No disciplinary incidents for the 2022-2023 school year
