ANTI-HARASSMENT STATEMENT
Our Anti-Harassment Statement is now:
Harnett County Schools acknowledges the dignity and worth of all students and employees. We are dedicated to providing a nondiscriminatory, inclusive, inviting, and safe environment for all students and staff. Our dedication to this is outlined in a broad range of Board Policies, including Policy 1710 Discrimination and Harassment Prohibited by Federal Law, policy 1720 Title IX Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex, policy 1725 Title IX Sexual Harassment, and Policy 1730 Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disabilities. Harnett County Schools does not tolerate any form of harassment or discrimination in any of its educational activities, admission, or employment. If any student, parent, or employee believes he/she has been the victim of or witness to any form of discrimination or harassment, you are encouraged to report those acts to Courtney Blackburn, Director of Employee Relations and Title IX, by email at cblackburn@harnett.k12.nc.us, or by telephone at 919.893.8151 immediately.
