Congratulations Ms. Daisy McDonald, appointed principal at Angier Elementary School!
Ms. McDonald attended East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy. She earned her Elementary Education certification from Campbell University, as well as a master’s degree in School Administration.
She began her career with Harnett County Schools teaching kindergarten at Anderson Creek Primary School. She proceeded to teach second grade at LaFayette Elementary School, and completed her principal internship at Lillington-Shawtown Elementary School. She is currently the assistant principal at Angier Elementary, and will assume the role of principal in July.
Her vision for AES is “for our Bulldogs to be captivated, connected, and challenged on a daily basis. Keeping these 3-Cs in mind, all students will achieve high levels of learning through authentic experiences that will help them reach and exceed their goals”.
