Thank you Technical Sergeant Kylin Pepera for visiting Harnett County Schools and sharing the culture of the Dine (Navajo People) in celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day.
Students from Overhills High School, South Harnett Elementary School, Lillington-Shawtown Elementary School, and Coats Erwin Middle School learned about Navajo culture through language, history, jewelry, and food.
We are grateful for this opportunity to learn and expand our understanding of Native American culture.
