Harnett County Schools Superintendent Dr. Aaron Fleming was recently appointed to the North Carolina Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission by State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Catherine Truitt.
Harnett County is one of our state's most military-connected communities and the only school district to receive the distinction of "NC Purple Star District" each year since its inception.
Dr. Fleming stated, "We know that military families face several challenges when they receive PCS orders to relocate. We want to ensure additional support for their children is provided within our schools."
