January is National Family Fit Lifestyle Month, but for Chad Haggard, promoting family fitness is a year-round endeavor.
Mr. Haggard is a P.E. Teacher at South Harnett Elementary School. Every month, he sends home a Healthy Activity Calendar challenge sheet that is designed to encourage students and their families to do activities that involve physical fitness, healthy food, and family fun.
As an incentive, students who complete and turn in the challenge sheets are entered for a chance to win prizes at the end of the school year. The more challenges they complete, the greater their chance of winning!
