Let’s Go To Chile!
Dual Language teachers Ms. Allende, Ms. Hernandez, and Ms. Del Mars Aires at Highland Elementary School took 1st and 2nd graders on a virtual trip to Chile as part of their #HispanicHeritageMonth presentation.
The children got to explore vast landscapes, to include mountains, and farms, and was able to learn about local flora and fauna. They caught a glimpse of monuments and famous destinations, and learned to pin locate Chile on a map.
The kids were engaged and wide-eyed, participating and soaking up all the culture in Spanish! It is an exciting time at Harnett County Schools!
