Harnett Health Sciences Academy Induction
A diverse group of students from Triton, Overhills, Harnett Central and Western Harnett high school was inducted into the 7th and 8th cohort of HHSA last night.
The Harnett Health Sciences Academy is a collaborative effort between @HCS CTE and @CCCC to address the immediate need for healthcare professionals in the region. The HHSA began in 2015, and has become a model program to fast track students into careers and college programs after high school.
Congratulations to all the inductees! Special thanks to Mr. Justin Wilkinson (Director of CTE, Harnett County Schools), Mrs. Audra DeSorbo (HHSA Coordinator, Harnett County Schools), and Dr. Sara Newcomb (Director of Secondary Partnerships, Central Carolina Community College).
