Thank you Dylan, Allen, Juliana and Melanie of Boone Trail Elementary School for being good school ambassadors during the Board of Education meeting. They led the Pledge of Allegiance, and talked to us about the Culture Club at BTES.
Led by Ms. Langston, the #CultureClub meets twice a week to learn about different cultures from around the world. Special guests come to share their traditions through music, dance, language and food.
Culture Club allows them to “visit” other countries without leaving the classroom. Expanding cross-cultural awareness is an important part in developing global citizens and world-class leaders. We are so proud of our students and staff for engaging in various activities in order to gain knowledge and appreciation for foreign cultures.
