STEM at Erwin Elementary School

5th graders from Madison Parrish’s class utilize @PaxtonPatterson #STEM kits to learn about how to use forensics 🔎 to solve a “crime”.

The forensic lab consisted of four stations. The students gained hands-on experience with ink chromatography, hand writing analysis, fingerprinting, and impressions.

#STEM labs 🧪 are a great way to spark interest, ignite learning, and explore careers.

Erwin Elementary School is an early adopter and the highest utilizer of #MajorClarityJr in our county. Major Clarity Jr. is a 5th grade career development platform where students can explore various career paths that match their career assessment and learning style.

#CareerDevelopment is a lifelong process. Introducing career readiness at an early age will provide meaningful experiences as they explore career pathways, academic planning and decision-making that will directly contribute to their success.
