ECU College of Education Scholarships
The scholarship portal for the 2026–2027 academic year closes on January 15, 2026. We encourage students to apply for one of our many four-year and annual scholarships. In the 2025–2026 academic year alone, we awarded over $1.2 million in funding to both undergraduate and graduate students.

Our four-year scholarships range in value from $26,000 to $40,000 over four years of study. Applications for four-year scholarships are currently open through January 15, 2026 and are listed as “The College of Education Community of Scholars Scholarship” in ECU Award. Monday December 8th - All After School Activities have been cancelled
We have an exciting opportunity for students ages 14-18! The CTE Grand Prix is a collaborative effort between Central Carolina Community College and Harnett County Schools. Students will be provided a day on the West Harnett Auto Restoration Campus to design, build, paint, and trial race an EV Go Kart, and then provided a day to race their EV Go Kart at CCCC's Moore Center! Students do not need any prior automotive or design experience.

The ideal student is eager to learn about STEM, engineering, automotive, physics, electrical, clean energy, team work, problem solving, etc.

HCS CTE will provide all transportation for students who sign up, as well as lunches on the dates of the 2 events. At this time, we are seeking 12 students for this FREE and exciting opportunity. Students should register using the QR code on the attached flyer, OR at the following link. Slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis, with a returned permission slip (provided the first week of January) confirming a student's spot. This opportunity is open to all students from CEMS, DMS, HCMS, HCHS, HMS, OMS, OHS, WHMS, WHHS, THS, STAR, HVA, HCEC.

If you are a mid-year graduate & participating in the January ceremony, caps & gowns will be distributed on Tuesday, December 9th during lunches at Triton High School.
